Federal prosecutors in Minnesota have brought fraud charges against 47 individuals for allegedly taking part in a scheme that exploited $250 million out of a federal child nutrition program during the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. The scheme is considered by the Department of Justice to be the largest pandemic relief fraud scheme charged to date.
