Biden wants to raise corporate taxes. Beware! It’s a scam. There’s no such thing as business or corporate taxes. Businesses treat taxes as overhead. Overhead costs are added to the price of the product. The corporation collects those taxes when you buy the product, but in that transaction YOU actually pay the tax. This isn’t rocket science. 250 years ago Ben Franklin and the people of the American colonies understood this sleight of hand effort, when the British Parliament adopted the Townshend Duties, and attempted to pass them off as an “indirect,” rather than a “direct” tax, like the Stamp Tax. But the Americans didn’t fall for it. They boycotted British goods and the British effort help drive the colonies to war.
