This video is about a PayPal Credit Scam. I just received this letter in the mail today that says it’s from PayPal Credit. It states “Welcome to PayPal credit. Thank you for opening a PayPal credit account. You now have a digital usable credit line built right into your PayPal account.”

So I do have a PayPal account, however, I have never applied for a credit line through them. It goes on to say “you can enjoy no interest if balance is paid in full in six months on purchases of $99 or more.”
It states an email address that I don’t own or have never owned. The website doesn’t even exist where this email supposedly comes from… “letting you know about your bill so you can view your statement anytime by logging into PayPal.”
And then its got a website, phone numbers, address where you can conveniently send payments. I called the phone number and it asks for the phone number associated with the account and then it asks for my social security number, like screaming scam right!
Then at the bottom, looks like some legit logos and fine print. So be aware of this. If you do have a PayPal account and you see this come into your mailbox, do not call that number and give them any information. Okay.
Cause a real PayPal account is linked to your bank. So you give them information and yeah, so hopefully nothing happens.
I will definitely be monitoring my credit in the future and we will see what happens with this.
So just wanted to make you aware, don’t fall for it.
