Is Affiliate Marketing a Scam? 🤔
Let me share my personal experience and clear the confusion.
Back in 2021, I joined the Amazon Affiliate Program. My first payout came on 1st Jan 2021 — ₹1278. Then came ₹2600, ₹1500, ₹1700, ₹1000, ₹2500…
In total, I made around ₹11-12K over a few months.
But here’s the problem nobody talks about:
Affiliate marketing is of two types:
🔹 Physical Product Affiliate – like electronics, home items, mobile accessories (through Amazon, Flipkart etc.)
Margins are extremely low — just 1% to 5%. So even if products sell, earnings are limited.
🔹 Digital Product Affiliate – like software, tools, courses, ebooks (through platforms like ClickBank, Digistore24)
Margins are high — 30% to 70%, but the problem is: these don’t sell well in India.
So what’s the solution?
There are a few hidden affiliate platforms in India where you can sell physical products and still get 20% to 40% margin per sale.
