With AI increasingly fuelling cross-border scams, Chinese tech firms are rolling out more anti-scam tools. Chinese smartphone maker Honor launched a deepfake detection feature across their Magic 7 series in China last October. It will roll out globally by the end of April. Since the launch, the feature — which has an 85% accuracy rate — has been used about 100,000 times a week on average. Deborah Wong reports from Shenzhen.
