Let’s be honest—most government fraud detection still follows a “pay and chase” model. A PO shows up, an invoice gets paid, and only after the fact does someone flag it as potentially fraudulent. It’s wildly inefficient and reactive.
In this video, I talk about how governments can flip that model on its head with AI. But here’s the catch: AI only works if your processes are solid first. You’ve got to design your workflows, set milestones, and establish clear internal controls before AI can do its job. Otherwise, you’re just automating bad processes—and no one wants that.
If we want to move from chasing flamingo charges to actually preventing them, the process work has to come first.
