Malaysia is set to harness the power of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to combat corruption and fraud in its digital landscape. At the recent International Conference on Technology, Humanities, and Management, Tan Sri Azam from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) emphasized the dual role of these technologies in both facilitating and preventing crime. With AI improving data analysis to detect financial irregularities and Blockchain securing transaction records, Malaysia aims to enhance transparency and accountability across various sectors. This initiative is part of a broader digital transformation strategy, featuring 20 strategic projects and a partnership with Worldcoin to strengthen national infrastructure and competitiveness in the global digital economy.
