Mollie Messuri Naples Arrest – Fraud Files Blog

On January 31, 2025, an officer from the Naples Police Department responded to the Collier County Growth Management office, located at 2800 North Horseshoe Drive in Naples. Mollie Messuri, 34, reported being the victim of a battery that occurred in the office lobby. During the investigation, Messuri provided written and verbal statements under oath, alleging that two neighbors, with whom she had an ongoing dispute, pushed, grabbed, and shoved her. Messuri further stated that her hair was pulled and the papers she was holding were ripped during the physical altercation.

Detectives confirmed through both interviews and surveillance video that the report and allegations made by Messuri on January 31st were fictitious and no such altercation occurred as initially described. Following completion of the investigation, Messuri was arrested and charged with filing a false report to law enforcement on February 10, 2025, and transported to the Naples Jail Center without incident.
